La Jeune Femme et la Mort starring Mara Galeazzi and Marlon Dino is in its final stage of editing with a brand new score written by Australian composer Katja Jorgensen. The film Directed and Choreographed by Tim Podesta, is based on the classic Le Jeune Homme et la Mort by Roland Petit, choreographed in 1946 with a one-act libretto by Jean Cocteau. “I always loved Le Jeune Homme et la Mort, I think it is one of the very few works of dance that translates well on film”, Podesta said. Mara Galeazzi brings all of the intensity that made her a much loved star of the Royal Ballet Company and Marlon Dino brings his incredible partnering and matinee idol looks making La Jeune Femme et la mort a film to watch out for.
La Jeune Femme et la Mort will share its first ever preview at the CUBE Wodonga as part of The ZOO Creations program.
