Les copines

In 2016 Tim Podesta was invited to create a new ballet based on an iconic image by Norman Parkinson from a libretto written by the prolific writers Terence Brady and Charlotte Bingham for the Covent Garden Dance Company.

Les Copines featured Mara Gaeazzi in the principal role, partnered by Royal Danish Ballet Principal Artist, Gregory Dean with a support cast featuring Stattsoper Berlin Ballet Principal Artist, Ksenia Ovsyanick, English National Ballet Artist, Jia Zhang and Royal Danish Ballet Artist, Sylvia Selvini.

Architecture of loss

In 2016 M&T In Motion collaborated with cosmetics company DAVINES to develop the short film Architecture of Loss for their I Sustain Beauty campaign. The short film was shot in an abandon warehouse in New York City and the Baryshnikov Arts Centre in New York.

ADOR

Over 2014/15 M&T In Motion worked on creating a dance film that used dancers from different companies across the world. The film ADOR featured dancers from Singapore Dance Theatre, Hong Kong Ballet. English National Ballet, Queensland Ballet, Australian Dance Theatre, Atlanta Ballet and young dancers from Projection Dance School. The film focused on young dancers discussing their fears and excitement about the uncertainty of a career in dance while experiencing the beauty of the professional dancers from these world renowned companies.
